Renowned playback singer Palak Muchhal has made history by entering the Guinness World Records and Limca Book of Records for her extraordinary humanitarian work funding more than 3,800 heart surgeries for children in need.
Muchhal, known for her melodious Bollywood hits like “Meri Aashiqui” and “Kaun Tujhe,” has been quietly transforming lives offstage through her long-running charity initiative, the Palak Muchhal Heart Foundation. Her foundation supports life-saving cardiac surgeries for underprivileged children who cannot afford treatment.
Palak’s journey of compassion began when she was just a child. During a train journey, she witnessed a group of young beggars, an experience that deeply moved her and inspired her to use her singing talent for a greater purpose. She began performing charity concerts across India, dedicating the funds raised entirely to medical aid for children with heart diseases.
Over the years, this small act of kindness has grown into one of the most impactful celebrity-led charitable efforts in India. To date, her foundation has helped over 3,800 children receive successful heart surgeries an achievement that earned her a place in the Guinness World Records.
In her statement, Palak expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying the award belongs not to her alone but to “every doctor, donor, and volunteer” who helped turn her vision into reality. She also emphasized that her mission is far from over, pledging to continue her work until “no child loses their life due to lack of funds.”
Beyond her heart-surgery initiative, Palak has also supported disaster relief efforts, including aid for earthquake victims and families of soldiers. Her story serves as an inspiring example of how art and compassion can come together to create meaningful change.
Palak Muchhal’s record-breaking feat reminds the world that true success is not only about fame or fortune but about how many lives one can touch along the way.
