Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari announced that all parties involved in the Gaza conflict have agreed to US President Donald Trump’s plan aimed at ending the war. Speaking to reporters, al-Ansari said that while the plan faces challenges in implementation, the agreement marks a significant diplomatic step toward peace. He added that Doha is working closely with Washington to ensure the plan’s rollout “will not be temporary.”

According to al-Ansari, Trump’s Gaza proposal contains 20 detailed provisions, covering a broad framework that includes a ceasefire, humanitarian aid delivery, and a mechanism for prisoner and hostage exchanges.
The plan also outlines that the handover of captives by Hamas and Israel would mark the official end of hostilities. Negotiations continue in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, with Qatari and Egyptian mediators facilitating discussions between both sides.

Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty confirmed that the United States will officially join the talks on Wednesday to help accelerate progress. He emphasized that the first phase of implementation will focus on the exchange of prisoners and hostages as a trust-building step, followed by humanitarian assistance to Gaza.

Cairo News Channel reported a “positive atmosphere” during the recent negotiation sessions, describing a tone of “cautious optimism” among mediators.

The plan also prioritizes the safe and consistent entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, including medical and food supplies for civilians affected by months of fighting. Officials involved in the talks said the discussions have remained centered on practical steps to stabilize the situation before moving to long-term reconstruction efforts.

While the next few days are expected to focus on finalizing operational details, mediators from Qatar and Egypt have reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring both sides adhere to the agreed terms, signaling a potential breakthrough in one of the region’s longest-running conflicts.
